Cut Paper Art

Standard

Thanks to Laura at work, she told me about this cool art form known as cut paper art.  There’s one particular artist that comes up first in google, Peter Callesen.  From skeletons to fence-lined foot prints, from animals to life-sized works, he’s done many amazing pieces.  From what I can tell, the trick to his art is to use only the paper he cuts out to create the 3d images, and they remain connected to the paper itself, so everything is attached, which makes it even more amazing.

Heh, so dad called last night to ask if he could borrow the car.  We think he’s all impressed with it.  He’s taking to to bathurst today.  Sure, he just got his truck on the road, but I’m sure that wouldn’t have made it up there and back *wink*wink*   Hopefully we’ll get her back sometime soon

Anniversary Fit for a Queen

Standard

Today is mine & Rob’s 5th anniversary.  ^_^  Happy Anniversary Bert!  Sorry I have to work today.  But at least I have this evening off, so we can do something.

For our anniversary, we bought ourselves a new car.  Brand spanking new.  We’re the proud owners of a brand new 2007 Honda Fit.  It’s fantastic.

Gotta go, time for class!
